Buy this, buy that is all you hear everywhere you turn. Most consumers

buy the most popular products before they even know what exactly they

are designed to do. Some of those consumers buy the cheapest products

assuring themselves that it is designed to do what the leading brands do.

Wrong and right. No matter what the cost, the purpose of the product is

most important, does it do what it says it will? Even more important: is

designed for my hair?.......

ACHIEVING GREAT HAIR....

Ever wonder why after leaving the salon, your hair fills like silk?  When trying to recreate that same feeling at home sadly you have no luck.  One of the things that stylists fail to tell the client is that any style or hair do starts with the shampoo.  "If you skimp on your shampoo, you skimp on your hair".  I hear clients all the time complaining about the price of shampoo.  Not realizing that in order for our hair to do what we want it to do we have to be good to it, treat it!  If I were to take a survey on how many different bottles of shampoo a customer had under their sinks, I  am sure that each person would have at least four. We consumers are willing to buy what we think works. Plus everywhere you look you see women with gorgeous hair, on television, in magazines, on billboards everywhere. Anyone who has spent countless dollars in a salon on hair styling or has just bought so many different products you no longer know what does what.Taking the product home wondering why you could not achieve the same results that your stylist had just only hours or days earlier had so easily done. Once you learn a few simple hair care steps for the proper maintenance of your hair, you will only go to the salon to buy the products that you know work for you and your hair. The first key step is to know your hair.

The natural PH (potential hydrogen) of hair 4.5-5.5 with 5 being average. The potential Hydrogen scale is a measure of the aciditity and alkalitity of a substance. PH is measured on a scale of 0-14, with 7 being neutral. The higher on the scale you

THREE SIMPLE STEPS:

1. Know your hair; by this I mean know your texture, density. Know what causes your hair to become frizzy, what causes shedding, limpness, etc. The key is to pay attention to your hair. Know that shampoos with too high or too low of a PH (potential hydrogen) are not ideal for your hair.

2. Ask questions; If you are a frequent salon visitor, don't be afraid to ask your stylist what she is using. Many times we just trust our stylist to style our hair, we never think of them as care providers. The main job of a stylist is the maintenance of your hair. Build a relationship so he or she will be honest with you

3. Don't be afraid to pay the cost; Yes professional brand products cost more. The reason for this is because the pros put more time and effort into their products. Remember, "If you short change hair on your shampoo, you short change on your hair."

BYE BYE FRIZZ..

Lots of women have hair that, they have considered frizzy, nappy or unruly all or most of their lives.  Here are a few simple steps you can try in order to tame the frizz.  Shampoo with a cleansing shampoo first, then try shampooing your hair with a Hydrating, Detangling shampoo.  Repeat this process twice.  Shampoo vigorously, saturating each and every hair strand.  Rinse with lukewarm water to cool water this helps any vitamins and nutrients stick.  Then condition with the appropriate conditioner for you texture.  Rinse conditioner with cool water for the same reasons.  Be it air drying, blow drying ( sit under or manual) always use some kind of heat protectant.  Style as desired!

Hello hair2nv Love this hub Great info. You are right on get Pro Products. No wonder I always disliked my hair. Until I went to beauty School I was a 'skeptical' about Pro Hair Products. Since that day I have never used anything but Professional. We tested many of the 'Walmart' lines in school. The PH was so high on some you could clean the kitchen floor. Most of the 'generic' conditioner had so much paraffin wax in it you could make a candle. Great Hub. Keep it up girlfriend. Hugs and Many Blessings.
